About City Space Gallery

The CitySpace Gallery is approximately 1,200 square feet and features mobile walls with a total display space of twelve 6′ × 8′ homasote panels. Piedmont Council for the Arts hosts one-month exhibitions in the CitySpace Gallery and accepts exhibition proposals from any prospective exhibiting organization. The CitySpace Gallery is designed for exhibitions by community groups, rather than individual artists. Individual artists may instead apply for exhibition space in PCA’s office. Exhibitions are expected to align with PCA’s mission and should have an educational purpose. Though not a requirement, PCA encourages exhibitors to host public programs and events in association with their exhibits. Prospective exhibitors should complete an exhibition proposal in order to be considered for participation. Exhibits for a full calendar year are booked in October.
