The Paramount Theater

About The Paramount Theater

Built as a movie palace in 1931, The Paramount was a center for a thriving community until 1974, when a combination of social and business trends forced its closure. A non-profit organization, The Paramount Theater Foundation, was formed to purchase and restore the theater, and it re-opened to much fanfare in December 2004.
