The Killers, Alvvays, Lights & Said the Whale at Halifax Music Fest

Halifax, NS) – Grammy-nominated, Diamond-certified Las Vegas alternative rock band The Killers will close out the 2025 Halifax Music Fest with a headline performance at the Garrison Grounds at Citadel Hill on Sunday, June 29. Joining them on the bill are indie pop band Alvvays, electro-pop artist Lights, and indie rockers Said The Whale.
The announcement follows last week’s reveal of the opening night lineup, which features globally celebrated Canadian rock legends Nickelback, along with fellow rockers The Glorious Sons and Big Wreck, as well as country singer-songwriter Tenille Townes.
The festival, held in the heart of Halifax, is a joint venture between Halifax-based Sonic Concerts and Mighty Quinton Concerts of St. John’s.
A limited number of general admission single-day tickets for Sunday, June 29, will be available at a special Tier 1 price of $162.50, including tax and service fees, with VIP tickets also on offer. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 14, at 10 a.m. Gates open at 4 p.m., and showtime is at 5:30 p.m.
Music Nova Scotia will receive $1 from every ticket sold to support the growth and development of local artists and the industry through education, advocacy, and investment.
