The Halifax County Exhibition is a traditional country fair with the timeless excitement and intrigue of watching beautiful draft horses in full regalia, oxen wearing traditional headdresses, English and Western horse showmanship including barrel racing and pole bending, large dairy and beef cattle competitions, amusements rides, FAIR FOOD, demonstrations, merchandise vendors, a Friday night truck pull, an entertainment stage featuring live music, a beer hall, bingo hall, and fun contests for EVERYBODY to enjoy . . . such as the Ladies Rubber Chicken Toss. Plus, anyone can enter a contest in the home and handcraft show, flower show, or garden vegetable competition.
