The alternative-pop artist NJ was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. She has always had a strong love and passion for music, singing has consistently been a huge part of her life. She was always active within chorus, theater, and even starred in over 15 musicals. NJ started songwriting in the summer of 2019, since then it’s become her favorite way of expressing emotions. The inspiration behind her songs mainly comes from love and heartbreak by changing the narrative from sad to empowering. NJ released her first single “POV” in December of 2019, and she is now gearing up to release a project full of music she feels represents her writing in an entirely new way.
