About Aggie Theatre

Aggie History The Aggie is the 2nd largest venue in Ft Collins residing in a turn of the century Old Town building. Built in 1906, the Aggie started out as furniture store, then became a movie theater. In 1993 it had rocking chairs for seats! In Dec of 1995 the Aggie had it’s last official movie as a cinema. Soon after the Aggie Theatre was born as a live music venue. The Aggie is know as FoCo’s main spot for hosting nationally touring acts. Artists such as, Griz, Reverend Horton Heat, Maceo Parker, STS9 and Tech N9NE regularly grace the Aggie stage. As of August 2015 the owners of Denver‘s Cervantes’ Masterpiece ballroom acquired the Aggie. With new ownership comes some exciting new plans to upgrade the 650 person venue with the same grassroots feel, energy and vision as Denver’s Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. What to expect for the future? Bigger national touring acts, renovations, new sound system, and a fresh new spirit to the Ft. Collins live music scene.
