One might associate drinks with Monterey’s Compact Disco, but food? Not so much. The upstart club is trying to change that with its first-ever Compact Disco Dining Club at the Stokes Adobe restaurant, where from 4-7pm, the Stokes patio will come alive with charcuterie and other bites, with a DJ and special musical guest providing the score. A ticket gets attendees one glass of Champagne upon entry and a token for another cocktail thereafter. When the club party wraps, attendees also have entry into the after-party at Compact Disco itself. [DS]
