Caltucky is a contemporary jamgrass/new acoustic four piece hailing from Northern California's gold country region. They have quickly gained a loyal fan base , captivating audiences with their unique fusion of traditional bluegrass styles and progressive improvisation. Caltucky gets the crowd up and moving with unique jams, originals, and covers. Recognized as a Showcase Artist by the California Bluegrass Association, Caltucky's powerful and catchy choruses, combined with their innovative instrumentation, sets them apart in the jamgrass community. With a debut full-length album on the horizon, Caltucky continues to redefine the genre and inspire music lovers with their electrifying performances.

Sunny Side of the Mountain is a high vibrational trio rooted in bluegrass based out of Monterey Bay, California. The band grew out of musical friendships formed jamming for years on the California festival scene, and brings that joy and camaraderie to the stage with a mix of traditional favorites and original material. The band is composed of Amy Warren, known for heartfelt song writing and powerful vocals, Marty Varner on mandolin, well known for instrumental fireworks and taking improvisation to new heights, and Ellijjah McCullar whose enchanting fiddle playing reflects his travels and extensive knowledge of world folk music and instruments. The band is an unexpected blend of homegrown and world traveled, and you can feel it in the music. Marty recently returned to life in the states after making his home in Belize, Amy has lived in France and Switzerland, and Elijjah has spent time all over the world including on a Greek fishing vessel. With band members holding advanced degrees in musicology, literature, and philosophy you can expect far reaching lyrics that run deep and ring true. At our heart, Sunny Side of the Mountain loves folk, traditional bluegrass, and old time so count on a vibrant high-energy core. We also love love, so count on a good good time.

Amy Warren is a Monterey based musician and long-time Guitars Not Guns instructor with the Marina Teen Center program. She serves as a volunteer for the California Bluegrass Association and Northern California Bluegrass Society.
