[HEARTS ON DENIM SLEEVES] This show promises to be quite a celebration—the evening doubles as an album release show for melodic punks Lee Corey Oswald's latest LP Darkness, Together and a celebration of the band's ten year anniversary. Darkness, Together is filled with beer drenched anthems that overflow with feeling and heart. For my money, it’s the best effort of the band's career and undoubtedly a contender for local release of the year. Filled with riffs, bursts of tuneful punk and lyrics relatable to anyone who has spent a decade plus seeking an art-filled existence (or just being an adult), the record is an effort absolutely worth celebrating.
